East Coast Auto Glass was founded in 2015 by husband-and-wife team Luke and Alice, following the closure of the glass repair company where Luke had been working. With strong relationships already built in the local panel shop trade, and a clear demand for skilled glass fitters in the region, we saw an opportunity to continue serving our community — and turned a challenge into a thriving business.
Driven by a lifelong passion for working independently and delivering quality workmanship, we’ve spent the past decade proudly fitting auto glass across the East Coast of Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. In 2021, recognising the evolving nature of the industry, Luke completed a Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology, further strengthening our commitment to professional standards and safety.
In 2023 Luke successfully completed Tesla’s official training modules, qualifying him to carry out approved body glass repairs on Tesla vehicles.
Luke performs these services in partnership with Williams Body Works — the only Tesla Approved Body Repairer in the Hunter region — ensuring every repair meets Tesla’s exacting standards for safety, precision, and advanced technology.
